Hello, I am Dhaivat.I'm a UX and service designer working in regulated, complex systems.
Ten years in UX and service design, after six years in industrial and automotive design. Sixteen years across both.
I take tangled services and systems and make sense of them.
Most of my work sits inside regulated environments, where legacy systems and governance rules are already fixed before I arrive.
My client list spans banking through to hospitality.
Some projects start with an ambiguous problem that needs framing. Others start already scoped and just need shipping. I work across both ends.
My background is in industrial design, with early experience in the automotive industry. That's where I learned to think in tolerances, how much something can bend before it breaks. I still think that way: structure first, then the details.
Outside work I'm a street photographer, occasional motorcyclist, and cricket follower. I bowl off-spin. Photography is mostly about paying attention to what's actually in the frame.
